Blue Lights and All with Momma Steele

Welcome Back! It's been a while but a ton of stuff called life has got in the way of blogging! Who knew that could happen? I heard once years back "If it weren't for change there would be no butterflies"... with that, change is exactly what is happening here. No revamping the wheel just moving forward with an updated focus. When this blog started, parenting and teaching was my life and many of our friends wanted us to share how we parented so well, but life changes. We have moved on.. literally.... We are now in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. A long way from South Florida and about 9 hours west of Chickasha, Oklahoma where God planted us for two years. We began with 6 children in our home, but over the last two years all of our adult children moved out and into careers and lives of their own. It's now officially my husband, our nine year old son, and me-- Living this crazy, aweful beautiful life together. See, changes! Our son Spencer is now a police officer in Oklahoma. Sean is finishing the police academy and when he graduates, he will be sworn in as a police officer in South Florida. Our oldest twin son Todd is a police recruit in Nevada and eagerly waiting to start the police academy. His twin Troy is in the United States Army and just recently returned from Afghanistan. Our daughter Ashley now has two children of her own and a beautiful step-daughter. And at last, our nine year old has been nothing but more than adaptive moving through his daddy's career across country. My husband, sorry I failed to mention, became Police Chief in Chickasha, Oklahoma and served there for two years before pursuing his newly acquired position as Police Chief in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Now, does the Blue Lights and All make any sense? I will probably write more from the point of a Police Chief Wife moving forward because that is our life, my life! The only thing that has not changed is our faith in Jehovah God and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Praise God! Come along with us on our incredible journey.

Welcome to Blue Lights and All with Momma Steele!
